Guys the countdown is ON. Today marks the last day of June, which means tomorrow is July, which means it’s officially summer and I’ve got my vaca approaching real fast. I apologize in advance of the slew of summer posts headed your way.
Ya girl’s back in school. Starting next month, if you’ve got a manuscript you need copy-edited, holla.
Ah, okay. I have to say for the first time in my recent memory…I hated a book. Like I wrote in my review for The Idiot, “Either The Idiot was so bland and nothing happened…or I’m the title character.” Chuckle all you want, boys and girls, I really couldn’t do this book. Worst part is…it was for Book Club. Best part? Some of the other girls also felt the same. And then on the complete other side of the spectrum, I absolutely adored
Ezra Fitz Ian Harding’s memoir, Odd Birds. Highly, highly recommend both for fans of PLL and just in general.
And speaking of Pretty Little Liars, we all know that when I get into a show I get into a show. With the finale finally approaching, I decided to re-watch the series from the S1E1. We also know my bingeing abilities, and even with taking time out of watching to read
Ezra’s Ian’s book, I’ve still managed to reach S4. By July’s update, best believe I’ll freaking finally know who A is!
‘Tis my least favorite season of bathing suit shopping. Other things on my radar this season: army green (why?) and ruffles. Very into handbags right now, and just snagged this Kate Spade beauty as a new work bag (for under $100!), loving my Tuckernuck “Sombrero” clutch and considering the investment of a backpack. Thoughts?
Last month I said I wanted to stay in town for the month of June and I succeeded. I am, however, switching back into travel mode for July, first heading up to Boston for a friend’s wedding and then (finally) to Aruba!
