Welcome to my latest series! Replacing monthly recaps of my life, these end-of-month posts will be round-ups instead. Each month, I’ll share with you the items I could not live without. Some will be consistent throughout the year, some will change depending on the season and more.
I’m sure – based on these items – we’ll be able to determine a theme for my month. Some are more hectic than others, but this particular month wasn’t. You can easily see my month was really all about work. Since I started a new job and my travel plans (thanks, Snow) were cancelled, I didn’t really have much else going on.
Yeti Coffee Mug: on my first day of work, my boss said, “that’s a huge coffee mug.” I know. I love it though. I bring it to work filled every day, and as I require more caffeine, it’s right there next to me.
Baby Steamer: this job has also required a little bit of a different work dress code. I don’t like being even a little wrinkled, so my steamer is my best friend at 6:30 am. It warms up so quickly and steams so fast that it’s something I cannot live without! I even gifted a few for Christmas this past year.
Moleskine Notebook: as I’m learning my job, my personal to-do notebook became a to-do and work notebook. I kind of like the new system though, because everything is in one place, organized by day.
Hunter Boots: with the damp and messy winter ground, I spent most days commuting in my Hunters and changing into other shoes at work. I’ve kept it simple: black booties and ballet flats for the most part, but really looking forward to outfits inclusive of shoe choices.
Marleylilly Lunch Bag: I think I only bought lunch out three times this month – that is a huge accomplishment for me! The rest of the month, I packed a meal like this from home and toted it in my lunch bag. I seriously recommend a lunch bag if you don’t already own one.
