Because my trip to California was 10 days out of a 28-day month, it really felt like it was all I did in February. When I think back of what I couldn’t live without, everything that comes to mind is trip-related. That’s helpful though, if you’ve got travel planned!
Allbirds Sneakers: I actually purchased these for the trip to California, and I’m so happy I did. I really try to stay away from products that are trendy and get hyped up, but these are so worth it. They actually feel like you’re only wearing socks, and on the trip, I literally put them in the washing machine twice, and both times they came out good as new.
S’well Bottle: Another thing vital to my trip…constantly having access to water. While it wasn’t necessarily hot in Southern California, it’s still more convenient to stay hydrated.
Longchamp Backpack: This was also purchased with my travel plans in mind. I knew that between California and next month, Ireland, it’d get a lot of use from the start. I’m a huge Longchamp fan and this bag is no disappointment. I got the pink and I love it, but part of me wishes I went with the navy for dirt control. Something to consider.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment: I always forget to talk about this! My makeup routine – which I have yet to share – is fairly simple and has basically been the same since 10th grade. The one thing I do switch up is my lip color, because that’s fun and harmless. One day I’ll compile a list of all my favorites, but the one I typically wear daily is this Fresh lip tint. It’s so hydrating because it’s a balm, and it’s got SPF, so it was perfect for vacation, too. I wear Tulip because I like pinks more than reds, but it gives the right amount of pop while staying neutral.
Cuyana Scarf: For some reason, I can’t find this exact one to link anymore but this is practically the same. It was so cold and windy that I took this with me every day and just rolled it in my backpack. It’s soft and warm and long enough to act as a shawl, so it’s the perfect travel companion.
PS- if you look at my Outfit Diary, my California looks are up and you can just see the repetition of what I wore/used off the bat.
