Another month in the books! Someone please slow time down. I’m having such a fun summer, but I’m also sentimental because everything I had been looking forward to almost in the past. This month, I’ve gone to two bachelorette parties in the same number of weeks (one in Scottsdale and one in Cape May), and visited my friends up in Scituate.
As much as I love traveling every weekend, I’ve been craving one day at home with no plans in order to reorganize, grocery shop, do laundry, workout properly, etc. I’ve kept myself very casual this month, especially as I’ve been unpacking and repacking every couple of days. Here are the three things that have mattered the most for my half-nomadic month.
Quip Toothbrush: I have been seeing this toothbrush ad on the subway for about a year now, but finally made the decision to buy it. The base price is affordable, and every three months, for $5, you get a new toothbrush head shipped straight to your door. With it’s gentle movements and easy-to-pack packaging, I’m loving it so far! PS – if you order through the link provided, you get a surprise 🙂
RMS “Un” Cover-Up: I’ve kind of stopped wearing makeup? Unintentionally, but since I’ve gotten a little tan going, and it’s been five-hundred degrees outside, I’ve opted to skip my makeup regiment and only apply concealer. I love this RMS one because it’s all natural and light.
Cuyana Travel Set: I can’t stress how much I love these travel bags enough. You’ve probably heard me mention them plenty of times by now. Keeping them packed and just transitioning them from the sink to the suitcase has been a pleasure.
Penny Vincenzi: This is an author my sister and I used to love years ago. She’s British, and writes these massive novels that are deliciously seductive and drama-filled. I haven’t read them in a while, but I found some in my basement last week and am dying to pick one up again. I remember my favorite being The Divorce and Spoils of Time trilogy.
Blockers: I watched this movie on the plane to Scottsdale and I struggled so hard to keep my laughs stifled throughout the whole thing. So much so that I made my siblings re-watch it with me three days later when I came home. Vulgar as it is, I haven’t literally laughed out loud at a movie in a really long time, and this one prompted non-stop laughter.
EatingNYC on Instagram: I’ve been following Lex for a while, and I value her opinions the most when it comes to New York City eating spots. I save lots of her posts, share them with friends, add them to my lists of where I want to go and what I want to try in each place. If you’re in need of a new restaurant or treat stop, check out her account!
