Location: Taco Project in Yonkers, NY
They say New Yorkers wear all black all the time, and that is true for some. While I can appreciate a great all-black getup, I’m more of a light-color, light fabric type of girl…especially in the summer. When switching my wardrobe, I also switch my accessories to include some “summer only” items. These mostly come in two textures: linen for clothing, and a variation of straw, wicker and rattan for accessories.
The bag pictured above is from 31 Bits, a place where all products are made ethically by artisans all around the world. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s quickly become my go-to for summer days. Big enough to fit my iPhone (plus), wallet, sunglasses, lip balm, keys and sunscreen mist, it’s a summer girl’s dream. Plus, it goes with ev-ry-thing. Flowy dresses, jeans/shorts and a flirty tee…this bag is my best friend.
Know what else helps? The fact that shopping at 31 Bits helps others. My bag is made by artisans of Teganan Village, Bali. You guys know how much I love supporting small businesses and creators, especially when they are socially conscious with their profits.
While I wrote this post to share my bag with you, there are other items over on 31bits.com that I love, too. Their jewelry, home goods and basket lines are amazing, especially these earrings, these placemats and this basket.
Also, if you’re shopping for the kiddos, all items are 50% until Friday, June 8 with code SUNNY50 at checkout.
Thank you to 31 Bits for sponsoring this post.
