I feel like all my Instagram and blog posts reference how long spring is taking to really set in. Sorry about that, if it bothers you. Anyway, between the fluctuating temperatures and over-cranked AC in office buildings, it’s difficult to know what to wear in the mornings.
This dress is perfect for the in-between weather, because it’s long sleeves can be worn down or rolled up. I don’t own many long-sleeve dresses, but I think they’re really great for this time of year. While you can never go wrong with a classic shirtdress, the more flowy and floral-pattern aspects do make it seasonally appropriate.
Floral patterns are a huge trend right now. As we’ve previously established, I am not a huge trends girl. I wear what I’m comfortable in and what I like, and in this case, the trend seems to be in my favor. I really like a good floral print…if it’s done right. When a dress or top looks too busy because of the pattern and color scheme, I draw the line. But aside from a stripe, a simple floral pattern really adds something to an outfit.
Also, for those of you wondering about the accessories in this post, I love my Warby Parker glasses and the flats are M. Gemi – comfy as can be!
