Social Media Management Apps

My company Relevè Branding Agency manages all aspects of social media for small- and medium-sized lifestyle brands. And while I’d love to sit here and tell you I have a healthy relationship with Instagram, the truth is that I spend way too much time on the app because of my job.

However, the following apps and websites do ease my workload (and also take up the largest portion of my business expenses each month lol). Not every account needs all of these – subscriptions depend on platforms managed, scope of work and goals – but scroll through because maybe one or two will make social media management easier for you (or better yet, you can always just outsource to RBA 🙂 ).

Content Creation

  • Canva/Over – easily create branded graphics of any size from pre-designed templates or scratch
  • Tezza/Lightroom/A Color Story – edit photos and graphics to your aesthetic with a consistent preset
  • Unsplash/Pexels – free stock images
  • Any Image – turn any image into a clickable link
  • Easy Image Resizing For Social Media – resize any image to the optimal size per platform, campaign and/or specific messaging
  • Magisto – easily create videos with advanced editing and professionalism

  • ColorKuler – find out your Instagram color palette
  • Likegrowers – automatically like posts with certain hashtags your audience may use in hopes of converting them into followers
  • Iconosquare – analytics tool that shares best post times and in-depth audience demographics
  • People Map – authentic community growth, campaign tracking and Instagram stats

  • Tailwind – schedule pins to post automatically and receive insight via analytics on pin and board performance

  • Planoly – my favorite Instagram scheduling tool because it’s best for visually-conscious brands (you already know how I feel about a curated aesthetic)
  • Later – Instagram scheduling platform
  • Sprout Social/Hootsuite/Buffer – social media management tool for all platforms
  • Edgar –  automated post repeating and scheduling for Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • TweetDeck – Twitter’s native scheduling platform
  • Social Rank – identify, organize and manage your audience on social media

  • Facebook Pixel Helper – Chrome plugin that tells you if your Pixel is correctly installed on your website
